I simply have no words for the performance Thor Hushovd and Edvald Boasson Hagen did today! It is so wonderful, and I’m so incredibly happy. But we must not forget the last Norwegian, Ryder Hesjedal. Although he comes from Canada as his family originated from Hesjedal farm near Bergen in Norway, so he is as good as Norwegian, at least half Norwegian. I had great difficulty to decide who I should root for today, but since Edvald was alone against Thor and Ryder my heart leaned towards Edvald. But if Edvald had a teammate with him and Thor had been alone I probably would have had a different feeling. But Thor is an old fox in this game and with his career behind him, while Edvald has still much to learn and have his whole career ahead of him, so maybe it was the way it should be. But I guess Edvald took lessons from this and will come back stronger later.
