Going back to England tomorrow
Today is the last day of my holiday, and tomorrow I return to England and Blackburn to start the pre season with the rest of the team. I have trained very well this summer, and in recent weeks I have been training two sessions a day so that I’ll be well prepared for next season. I have trained a lot of versatile training and very little football, so now I’m looking forward to really start playing football again.
Today it was especially exciting for us Norwegians to watch the sprint on today stage of the Tour de France. It was perfect for Edvald Boasson Hagen to walk away with the win, and Wiggins did a great job of pulling him in position. Unfortunately, it did not work this time and Greipel was too strong in the end. Anyway, it is great to see Edvald and the fantastic effort that he puts in.

Hi Morten,
Sounds like you’ve had a good break…but also trained hard too. Just wanted to wish you and the boys the best of luck for the coming season. Despite all of the club’s recent troubles, the true fans are loyal to the team and to our beloved club. Here’s to a good season and a return to our rightful place in the Premier League!!
Come on you blues!

Ønske dæ lykke til den kommende sesongen!
hei morten!
How come you didn’t play in either of the games on Saturday Morten?
Wishing you the very best of luck for next season. Will see you at the away games - not going home
Just seen the back page of the Lancashire Telegraph… Gutted!!
Unbelievable, if I was considering renewing my season ticket this news has just confirmed not doing was the right decision. You will always be a true Rovers legend but you deserve to be treated better by our present owners and so called manager. How they think you don’t deserve a place in our team and then go out and buy Danny Murphy make him captain is beyond me. I wish you all the best in your future and urge you to do what’s right for you. Our club has no idea. And to what Andy said, Gutted doesn’t quite sum it up. Chin up Pedersen XX
You are a legend Morten Gamst Pedersen! Up the Rovers! F*** Venkys, F Kean!!
Morten!
Just seen today’s press, shattered! You have been a loyal servant of our club and along with Brett Emerton, you 2 were my favourite Rovers players! If it is true and you do move on, we will never forget some of the stunning goals you scored, that cheeky smile and the couple of interviews you did for us on Vital Blackburn!
All the best and good luck with finding that blonde Australian Princess of yours haha!
If the press is to be believed and the club have put you up for sale, they ought to be ashamed. They claim to be looking for experience to supplement all these young, unproven players and decide your experience, commitment and not least talent are not enough. This proves that Venkys have not got a clue what they are doing. It also proves that Kean does not have a clue how to manage a successful team as he should fight tooth and nail for such an established player whom would be a vital part of our push for promotion. Instead we will see a mix of never-heard-of youngsters who aren’t ready for English football, decent players like Goodwillie and Rochina who never get played, useless wasters related to the clubs ‘advisors’ who have less footballing ability than a doorhandle and players who are bought as they are a twin of another player so it will confuse opponents. Our beloved club is such a shambles now.
I would like to hope the club see sense and you remain with us Morten, as I know you care a great deal for our club and have been so loyal over the years. If you do move on, you will be sorely missed and I would like to thank you for all you have done for our club, especially some of those wonderful and important goals you have scored over the years.
100% Rovers 0% Kean & Venkys
Gutted, gutted, gutted. All the best pedders. You’ll always be blue n white for me
Kean = Clueless
Venkys = Clueless
I am a hater of both…and I will continue to hate.
Gutted Morten
I hope that noone will come in with any offers so we can keep you, but I can’t see that happening

I just want to say thank you for all the years of loyal service, all the goals (especially against the dingles!) and all the great memories. I wish you all the best for the future, wherever you go. You will always be welcome back at Ewood and hope to see you, Salgado and Tugay together on the coaching/Management team one day
Thanks and good luck xxx
Can’t believe the club have put you up for sale morten, so hope you don’t go:( had a season ticket since I was six and been my fave player since then.. please don’t go:( xxxxxx
MGP! What a shock this is, I’ve been a season ticket holder for 20 years and have had the pleasure to watch you over the years. The club is clueless! I hop they have got this wrong, your a great player! Thanks for everything and good luck! Kean Out! Venkys Out! Anderson Out!
Absolutely gutted. As possibly the only player to commit himself to seeing out his contract at rovers soon after we were relegated, to be told you are not in the plans of a completely inept manager is nothing short of disgraceful. You have always given us 110% and handle yourself with great dignity and humility in the face of negative fans and I along with many others wish you all the best for the future should you be forced out of our once great club. Thanks for the wonderful memories, you have been a fantastic servant for Rovers, such a shame this doesnt count for anything under the current regime. Hold your head high Morten, you’re one of the good ones. xxx
So shocked & gutted, Morten
I don’t know what to say… Thank you for all of the fantastic memories and all of your loyalty, hard work and commitment over the years. I really hope that they see some sense and realise how very important you are to our club. I wish you the best of luck in the future… wherever that may be
I’m praying the somehow we manage to keep you!! Lots of Love! xx
I am absolutely gutted at the fact you may have to leave. The playing staff are managed by a clueless scottish twonk and we are owned by equally clueless chicken farmers. You have been THE most loyal player to Blackburn Rovers and I am extremely disappointed in the decision the club have made. I can only hope that wherever you do go you will continue to have a fantastic career (two fingers at kean). It wont be the same without you. I do hope things change and quickly because we dont want to lose you. You are a diamond geezer xxx
ps - forgot to mention thank you for taking kean out on the touchline. You made my day xxx
Hei Morten,
Don’t agree personal terms with another club Morten. Sit it out until after deadline day and then hopefully before the next window comes around Kean will be history and you will still have a future at Rovers.
Absolutely outrageous comments made by Shebby Singh today and am disgusted that he chooses to crticise you, one of the most loyal players that Rovers have had in recent years. Disgusted by what is happening at the club at the moment but as Neil says, don’t agree terms with anyone else and stay with us.
Morten, You were with Rovers before the vermin Venkys, Kean +agents and Shabby etc arrived. I and many other Rovers fans hope you are still with us after they have gone.
Obviously Shebby does not realise that it is not the fact that you are a quality, established, experienced winger who, according to the Opta stats, covers a greater distance than pretty much all team mates and opponents in games, merely the fact that an inexperienced, underqualified and utterly useless manager insists on playing you out of position.
The role he asks you to occupy is difficult enough for even younger players to adapt to easily and effectively, even if they are somewhat of a ‘utility’ player.
Hold you head high my friend, you are by no means past it, a pensioner or past your sell by date. Your loyalty to Rovers, even following relegation, and cotinued ability will always be remembered by us loyal fans, it is just such a shame that they have backed you into such a terrible position.
We all want you to stay and play, I’m sure you also want to remain loyal to our beloved if shambolic club but after such disgusting comments I feel increasingly like they won’t even give you the chance to show your ability again for us.
So mad at what they are doing and almost ahsamed to be a Rovers fan, just hope we get bought out asap!
I would like to apologise for what pathetic comments Shebby Singh made today. You are a fantastic servant to our club and I hope that you continue to don the Rovers shirt for at least a couple more years.
Ignore the Venky’s and Kean, I’m sure you’re well aware by now that they’re misled and clueless.
Todays comments about you are a disgrace and clearly aimed at taking the pressure away from the scumbags that now run our club. You are a quality player … the best we have, and you been loyal through your time with rovers. I will not be attending games this year for the 1st time in 20 years !!! … my son is gutted!
So pissed off cant believe what that bastard shebby singh has said. The only player to come out and publicly confirm that he will be staying at the club has been treated like shit. Being told your not wanted is bad enough but to then be told that he is a old age pensioner, it really is a disgrace. All i have to say morten is to try and prove that you belong at our club and if thats not possible, thank you for the memories pal you really are true Rover
Morten, you should be proud of yourself despite what that cretin Singh says, how many assists dd you have in the EPL last year?? In the hearts of Rovers fans you are a legend and a proper servant, hope your still a blue n white for years to come!
The most loyal player to wear the might blue and white halves. You are a credit to any true Rovers fan. What ever happens I’m glad I had your name on the back of my shirt for many seasons. I have nothing but the most respect for you. All the best Morten
Im another rovers fan that would like to say that I’m disgusted that ‘our’ club has treated you this way. I hope you can stay and prove them wrong, but the way they have treated other players last season, i doubt you will play for us again… and that is a shame because we need all the help that we can get.
Maybe and hopefully you can shed some light on the way things are run behind the scenes, be loyal to the fans.
All the best in what ever or wherever life takes you, your a true rover and bleed blue and white.
The season hasn’t started yet. What a remark from shebby…BUT one thing I know…I disgree with his recent remarks on you. I mean I have always rated you high with your skills and personality on the pitch. For me having you in the club, it’s like seeing the likes of Shearer, Sutton, Galacher etc back in action. That’s passion to me.
morten, ignore shebby and find a club that wants you and will properly utilize you. i understand the fans want you but unfortunately their choice means nothing. venky’s have shown that for almost 2 years now. good luck and i hope to see you in the top flight again this season!
matt from USA
You old git you. WHAT A GOAL!!!!!!!!! LOVE IT!!!!!!!!
Wow What does Shebby actually know about football? hmmm seems to me like he hasn’t watched any of the games!!
Shebby Singh has shown he knows nothing about football. Your the fittest player at the club! How can he say your legs have gone, we all know you have never been the quickest but thats not your game. The blokes a moron and shows he knows little about football. The worrying thing is that it shows Kean is just the tip of the iceberg. Venkys are the real problem. Peds youve been a class act for Rovers! Thanks for all your dedication. Good luck
Keep the faith.
Your quality and professionalism will shine through.
Morten I can’t believe what shebby has said, what an absolute idiot, the man hasn’t a clue about football or our club. Keep your head held high, you are a great player, true professional and a loyal servant, and muched loved by rovers fans!
Keep the faith
Morten please dont listen to Shebby he has been with us five minutes and is trying to act as if he is the pillar of all knowledge about the Rovers. You are a legend for me mate you can never take away some of the amazing moments we have had with you in our side. That game against Man Utd at Old Trafford was a particular highlight for me. I have always stuck by you despite some of our fans who just get enjoyment out of wallowing in their own self pity. They and Shebby are looking for a scapegoat, I actually think the communication with the fans is a good thing, he has just over stepped the mark by a long way. He speaks arrogantly just as most of the Venkys entourage have and it is a real shame as it brings bad publicity and is also upsetting for you as well I am sure. I am also sure that you are a strong character with thick skin and you can come through this adversity on top again, we have had you over a decade and you are one of the clubs greatest and loyal servants I have seen as a fan. The best way to shut them up is bang in a few more of those free kicks like the one against Cork City the other night. Great sense of humour
with the zimmer frame celebration shove it right in their faces!! Hope you stay with us keep your hater blockers on and ignore the ignorant people who cant see that you are just a much of a fan as the rest of us and still a great player who would be one of the best set piece specialists in the Championship. There are a lot of positives there I am sure with the quality of players we are bringing in it must be exciting to be training alongside some fresh talent at the club. We essentially have brought in all premiership quality players and barely anyone has left so our squad is easily one of the best in the Championship. Look at Bolton and Wolves they have not really done much from what I have seen. Now lets go win the league at the first ask and bring some happy times back to our proud beloved club. Cheers for the memories and as Vinnie Jones once said, “its been emotional”!
send a free kick into shebby’s head the next time your training…
Hmmmm, Shebby is so sarcastic but think positive Morten. It seems that you’re no longer the player that used to be. I dont know whether it is because of Steve Kean style of play or what. Sometimes, it’s hurt when people hurt your feeling but believe me, it will make u try harder and positively try to prove to everyone who you are. Good luck.
Morten, Good luck if your playing today unusual for you not to have blogged. x
Hi Morten, Sheepy hasn’t got a clue about football. You are a good player and a loyal rover. We love you. Please don’t listen to him. continue to work hard and I wish you good luck this season. y u no blogg these days? we miss it.
Try and say hello to us when you feel up to it, Morten. Your fans miss you and are here for you. Hope to see you when you come to Charlton!
Best of luck and good wishes to you.
Love and LIGHT

Come back Morten! The fans appreciate you big time even if the owners dont…just shows how clueless they are!
Hi Morten, I hope you could hear all the fans supporting you and singing for you to come on the pitch last night!
Please blog soon- We miss you! xxx
The fans love you morten never forget that…. A simple coincidental look to my cousin made his year the other night. Please start blogging again really missing your news. X
hey morten, just read online that anders breivik has been declared ‘sane’ in his mass murder trial in norway. i know it doesn’t change the fact that so many loved ones were lost in the attack, but hopefully it will help give at least a little closure to the families of these victims and to the norwegian people. i hope to see you in the starting 11 on saturday. good luck!
matt from USA
Great goal Morten, keep up the good work. When are you going to get back to blogging more often, miss your news. Great start to season for you and I am so glad for that. Lets hope the clueless bald twonk gets his just desserts and that the owners leave too. would give anything to have our club back to how it used to be. We all hate kean and venkys but the fans love the club and the players, so please dont forget that xx
Wonderful goal Morten, congratulations on securing the win! Yet again you prove what a legend you are!
BACK IN BUSINESS!! Well Done Morten. Fab goal.. not just fab strike, fab goal! So proud of you… proves that sometimes you need the doubters… just so you can prove them wrong xxx Did yourself, the team, and the club proud by putting personal feelings aside and doing what you do best
)…… it’s a shame that others (in? and) around Rovers cannot do the same… Thank you again for being the REAL heart of BRFC… shout out to Robbo too, who probably has a sore throat for all the shouting!!! BRING ON THE PREMIERSHIP!!! xxx
Do you like Apples Shebby? How do you like them apples! Great goal!
Well done Morten, can’t wait to see the goal and the celebration. We miss you, if your not gonna blog then can’t stig let us know your ok? Enjoy your evening xx

Hope you enjoy your evening tonight. Hope to see you blog again soon too.
Thanks again for your goal today it was fantastic xx both my nephews have been ang bought new shirts today and got your name on their backs without hesitation x
Fantastic goal, take no notice of the ignorant flickers who run the club, we appreciate your loyalty and professionalism even if they don’t RTID xxx
Nice goal
Just wanted to say thank you Morten. You have been a true role model and a fantastic servant to our club. Professionals like you are few and far between and we are lucky to have you. I really hope you continue to stay at our club for the rest of your playing days. I would love to see you playing in the Premiership again next year in blue and white.
Well done on your goal yesterday great start to the season, love the irony of the walking stick bet I know where you would love to stick it lol. Good luck for the rest of the season, you are a true blue legend, and in the words of the song please don’t go xxxx my congrats to the rest of the team as well please.
Synd du ikkje blei tatt ut t landslagssamlinga nå nylig. Korsn skal Norge nå vinne kamper? Uansett, stå på videre!! Du blir garantert med neste gang.
NB.. Arte Et Labore

Morten, please come back, we miss your blogs! Great start to the season, dont think anyone would have predicted that start! I’ve not missed a game yet either
I’d be happy happy if you was playin for Fenerbahce
Yo Peds, you weren’t listed on the team sheet for Norway today. They really could’ve used your help. Not a good start to World Cup qualification. Get back in the team as soon as you can!

Congratulations Morten, top of the Championship league! Amazing victory, well done to you and the whole team
keep those wins coming morten. i don’t think results will ever be enough to make people forgive steve kean and venky’s but that’s out of our hands. all we can do is cheer you on and all you can do is play for yourself, for the fans, and for the blue and white! up the rovers!
matt from USA
Hey morten! Congrats on being top of the championship! Sucks that you no longer blog!!
keep the points coming!! X
Morning Morten, results are coming wish you would get back on here and let us know your pleased. MIss your updates. X
Morten,
I am wondering where you have gone! Gutted that you aren’t on here anymore! I used to love getting on here to see your views!! Come back soon!!!!
Everyone is missing you. Come back soon. Get posting those pictures again.
I dont think that he will be back until he leaves our club. Its a shame, but I reckon he might be fed up with what is going on at BRFC and that hes just trying to shadow his feelings (at least unitl he leaves)…
Have you seen the breaking news? Steve Kean’s resigned, saying owners were interfering with tomorrow’s team selection and his position was now untenable.
Woohoo - he’s gone finally. I can come back to Ewood Park now and cheer on my beloved Blackburn Rovers, Come on Morten get blogging!! Love you and look forward to seeing you next home game at Ewood Park - is it a date??
Morten, good luck for today. Forget all the politics the fans are still behind the team probably more so. Have fun x
missed your pictures gamst! hope u post some updates on your blog
anyw finally saw that Steve Kean QUITS!!
really happy to hear this news! cheers from sunny Singapore
kean is out. now venky’s need to go. funny thing that once kean has finally started doing well on the pitch he’s gone. anyway, this will definitely get a few people back in the stands. hopefully someone competent enough can replace him, and i hope to god it’s not shebby singh. that would probably be the last straw for you morten!
hope to see you in today’s lineup! score a cracker!
matt from USA
Hi Morten,
Kean is gone. and thats a happy news for all of us rovers supporters, lets us hope things get better and we will be like we were some years ago. By the way why u no blogg any more Morten. pls start blogging again. we loved ur posts and we miss it.
Mohammed, From Stockholm
Gamst, kom igjen a!
just saw your quote in the papers morten… about not worrying about who’s managing the team and playing for the blue and white because of pride, and anyone who doesn’t want to do that can take a seat on the bench. well said! thanks morten. =)
matt from USA
I hope Henning will let you start blogging again.
Pretty stoked with Bergs appointment. Hope hes here for many years. At least he knows what its like to win silver with rovers. How about dropping us all a line soon morts and give a little inside update. Finally the ghost of steve kean can be laid to rest. Rovers Return on the way.
I hope that now we have a new manager and hopefully the negativity surrounding the club will disappear, that you will start blogging again. We miss you!! Henning Berg’s Blue and White Army
See you on Saturday at Palace!
Kor i svarte helvette blir du av? No må du faen meg se til å blogge..
Wish you’d get posting again Morten!!!!
Morten… if Berg continues to leave you on the bench then I think you should consider greener pastures, or even a loan spell somewhere. All that training isn’t worth anything if you don’t play, and if you’re not playing for your club then there’s no chance you’ll get called up to the national team. =(
Matt from USA
Hei Morten!
Savner innleggene dine!
Morten, hope you had a good christmas, and what news today from our club, once again the owners have an opportunity to do something right, third time lucky. Lets hope whoever takes the helm realises what a talent is wasting on the bench. Chin up and all the best for the New Year xx
Hei Morten,
kossen har du det i klubben?
MVH
Tber1
Hei.
Why have you and Dunny been dropped from the squad, Morten? Hope it was for telling Shebby what you think of him!! I can’t bear to see what’s going on at our club
Heartbreaking
I hear rumours about a transfer to Leeds Mort?
just watched a fan video of mr. desai of venky’s getting hit in the face by a snowball! awesome! i hope to see you somewhere besides ewood park soon morten! what a mess it is now!
matt from USA
Can’t you come back now ???????????
come on Morts, time to start dropping a line with the fans again. excellent game against the arse nal by the way. well done. The App is turning things around. Fans are sensing the rejuvenation. He seems to be of the alardyce mould,
cheese
Hi Morten, am really sad by the situation our rovers is in right now. despite all the off-field problems i believe the players should play with passion and give 100 % in every game to save us from relegation. especially you, Dunny and Martin Olsson should feel bigger responsiblity because you were here long time i.e. the good old days and you know the club, the fans and what it means to play in the blue and white shirt. Please let them all get our message.
Mohammed, from Stockholm
Hei Morten,
Hey Morten. Season has almost come to an end and things aren’t looking too well. If you decide to move on after this season or if the owners decide they don’t want you anymore and cut you loose then you should think about giving the MLS a try maybe. We’d love to have you at the Seattle Sounders! Anyway good luck for the rest of the season and tell the other lads to get behind Gary Bowyer. He’s doing a decent job considering the circumstances.
Matt from USA
I hear you may be leaving us mate.
You have always been a model “pro” and I thank you and wish you all the best for the future.
You will always be a Rover and I hope to see you at Ewood many times in the future.
As Tom says, it looks as though you may be on the way out of Ewood.
I would like to say a massive thank you for your time at the club but mostly for your dedication, commitment and loyalty!
9 years is a long time to be at a club in the modern game, and in that 9 years you have been an out and out professional, it is a shame that it ends like this. I am only 1 person but I’m certain that there are thousands of others that feel the same way, some even more so
You have given us some great memories, especially back in 2005!! 2 goals to give us a win at Old Trafford, but I think the point you entered Blackburn Rovers Legend status was the FA cup replay when you scored the winner against Burnley.
Again I would like to say thank you and it was a privildge seeing you in the Blue & White halves! I wish you all the very best for the future whatever you decide.
hi gampst its mo one odf the stewards who do the players gate end of the match with frank we wil miss you good luck for the future
Thank you for 9 years of loyal professionalism at Blackburn Rovers, and some legendary goals along the way too. You’re the sort of character we need around the place at the moment so the decision to let you go is mystifying. It’s sad to see you go, but good luck with whatever you do next.
Hey Morten, if you do end up leaving Rovers, I just wanted to say thanks for everything you’ve done for the club. You will always be a Rovers legend. Thank you and good luck! x
Best of luck for the future Morten! Thanks for the memories pal.
Hi, I really hope that you still read the comments on this blog even though you do not write on here anymore. I can’t believe that the club that I love and adore has said they are happy to let you leave not only are you a true professional and loyal to the club being there 9 years but I also see you as a fan. I have been a season ticket holder for as long as I can remember and even when you have been on the bench you have been ready to come on whenever needed as well as showing so much support to the players that have been on the pitch. It has been a major privilege to watch you and to meet you on a number of occasions and I really wish you the best and hope that you don’t leave too soon. I hope you will come back to using the blog so I can still follow you your career and your other ambitions in life. You are and have been amazing keep smiling love Louise xxx
Morten I would also like to thank you for your years of service to our club. Perhaps though, before you leave, we can have one last magic moment. A brief cameo would be an ideal chance for Ewood to show it’s thanks to you properly.
hi morten! just in case you do depart ewood park, thank you for being a loyal rovers player for nine years!!!! you are a true rover and will be missed if you do leave as you are a brilliant footballer!!!!! thanks morten!!!
Hi Morten
I do not know if you still get these messages or not. I am so shocked in how the club are treating you. You will be missed at Ewood so much. Your loyalty has been fantastic and all the wonderful things you have done to turn games around. I wish you could dig your heels in and prove to whoever it is that you deserve your place in the first team. I wish you all the luck in the world and will raise a glass to you next time I am at San Carlo.
Take care.
Hayley
O.M.G. I cannot believe it, what a shock, you are going to be missed so much. You are a true professional sportsman, loyal servant to the Rovers (you are blue through and through) and such a gentleman. I have always felt confident when you are playing, such an asset especially the truly amazing free kicks and your famous through ins. My whole family are massive Morten fans, my grandchildren have your name on their shirts. I have had the privalidge to have met you on a couple of occasions and you never bother when asked to sign your name. You will be missed at the club both on and off the pitch and I wish you luck wherever life takes you. Look after yourself. Chris
I know that you havent blogged for quite some time but I do hope you will see the messages from Rovers fans like myself who are gutted that you are leaving the club. I am honoured that you pulled on the blue and white halves for 9 amazing years. I will miss you so very much. You have been an amazing seervant to the club and I would like to take this opportunity to wish you well at your new club. I will still look out for you in the future. Best of luck for your future. Love you loads Chrissie x
Hi Morten,
I know you probably don’t read these messages anymore but I hope you do so that you can see how much you mean to us Rovers fans. You have been a great servant to the club over the past 9 years - dedicated and loyal - and signing autographs and taking pictures for fans was never too much trouble for you. They certainly don’t make them like you anymore! Good luck at your new club. Thank you sooo much for the happy memories, especially scoring against them lot down t’road!!
Good luck Morten and take care. Come back to Ewood sometime.
Love you <3 xxx
Thanks Morten for your dedication, you will be so sadly missed and good luck for the future.
You have been a role model and a star in a blue and white shirt for many years for so many, wish you were staying all the best.
Roy
Again I really hope you read this. You have been amazing and are a true blue and white. Please never forget that and you proved that again today by coming on to the pitch at the end of the match. I just wish you didn’t have to go before retirement. Even during this horrible situation you have been a true professional as you have throughout. Please start blogging so that I can still follow your football career. Love Louise xx
I will seriously miss you Peds. You have been my favourite player ever since you started. I almost cried when you came out on the pitch today after the match. I nearly cried. Good luck with your future Pedersen, you will always be my favourite!
Enjoy your football Morten, and thank you for your time at Rovers
I am absolutely gutted man, honestly you was the first player I ever idolized. I can’t believe of all players they did this to you, the one true loyal player at our club.
Every Blackburn fan is sad that you’ve gone, all the loyalty and 110% effort you have given to the club over the years, at any other time the club would have repaid the loyalty and dedication you shown over the years but the current regime is a joke.
You’re an inspirational professional a great player and always had the time of day for the fan, you’re a fantastic role model for any player that comes to this club and it was almost as if you was going to be here forever.
I hope you come back when upper management at the club has changed and maybe be a coach so then we can give you the testimonial and send off you deserve when you do retire in your own time.
You wasn’t the only crying at that interview trust me.
The club’s motto; Arte et Labore, means by skill and hard work, I don’t think I’ve ever known a Blackburn player who can relate so much to that motto than you, you are truly a blue and white Norwegian through and through and you will always go down as a legend at this club.
Good bye Morten, good luck in your future hopefully you’ll be back one day, never forget because we’ll never forget the great times we have shared.
Good Luck and Best Wishes for the future, Morten. You will be very much missed at Rovers, especially at the Disabled Supporters Parties. Please come back and see us when you can.
Hope you can return to Ewood Park someday after those “Chicks” leave Ewood Park. Good luck Morten, All the best….& don’t forget to update this blog…
Hi Morten,
Just wanted to say thank you for nine wonderful years of loyal service through the good and the bad. You are an example professional and an inspiration.
I wish you all the best in the future.
Louis
Good luck Peds - Rovers won’t be the same without you. It is a disgrace the way that you have been treated by the Club and I’m ashamed that they have seen fit to treat you in this way. Would love to see you back at Ewood in some capacity one day when hopefully we have new owners and management. Don’t let the end of your time at BRFC spoil the good memories that you have of your time at Ewood.
Thanks for everything Morten and good luck in Turkey! You’ve been part of the fabric of the club for the last decade. I was just starting high school when you joined and you were somewhat of a hero. Its sad to see you go! Maybe when this big dark cloud has finally cleared over Ewood then you can return in some sort of other capacity, as a coach or whatever.
Thanks for everything Morten, we’ll miss you.
Good luck morten, I really think you still have lots to offer. You’re honest and decent and a dying breed in football. Never, despite all the issues at rovers have you been unprofessional, a credit to you. Hope to see you again at ewood one day. The least you deserved was a testimonial
Thank you for so many years of happiness. Your last minute free-kick against Sheffield United will live long in the memory. Best of luck for the rest of your career and in life.
Hi Morten, I was gutted to hear that you were leaving Rovers, but can understand that you’d want to be somewhere playing football…I wish you were still playing 90 minutes for us each week. Some of your performances are among my favourite memories as a Rovers fan. Thank you for your effort, loyalty and service. Good luck for your move away and the rest of your career…hope to see you back at Ewood in some capacity one day…best wishes.
Good luck in Turkey, and many many thanks for everything you did for Rovers. You WILL be missed. #ROVERSLEGEND!

Hi Morten,
I have always been a great admirer of you during your time at Blackburn Rovers. As many have said you were a true professional.
I do feel that you should update this blog as I enjoyed reading it and it is a shame to see your last post was from 2 years ago.
p.s. I have been looking for a rovers top with your name and number on the back for some time but cannot find one. Perhaps you could donate one
