Blackburn Rovers took a very deserved 2-0 win in todays match against West Brom, even though West Brom had several good chances, but with a little bit luck and a good Paul Robinson they where denied any goals witch led Blackburn Rovers to a very comfortable seventh place. I got a few words with Morten right after the game, and here is a summary

Stig: Congratulations on your victory, this leads you up to the seventh place. How does it feel?
Morten:
This was great, and a fully deserved win I think.
Stig: You opened the game by giving West Brom a huge opportunity, why did you do it?
Morten:
Heh-heh, yeah I tried to get an early assist, but they could’t score so I didn’t get it.. No, there were several situations where the ball would not go where I wanted it. But you just have to forget such incidents and work hard through out the whole game even if you do not have your best day
Stig: Tamas scored a spectacular own goal, what do you think about that goal?
Morten:
An absolute beauty, it is only to congratulate him on that pearl of a goal, he-he. Of course I feel sorry for him, but as long as it’s good for us we will say thank you very much.
Stig: Why didn’t you scored when you had the chance at the end of the game, have you scored enough for the season?
Morten:
No, no, unfortunately the ball did not bounce my way today. I’m slightly pissed off because it had been good with a goal today.
Stig: The situation with Jones and Odemwinige, you were lucky that the Ref didn’t penalized you?
Morten:
Difficult for me to say.
Stig: The replay shows that it was clear penalty, you were really lucky!
Morten:
Yes maybe, but if the Ref had given a penalty Robinson would have saved it anyways, so they were lucky to miss out on that humiliation
Stig: Kean shows that he knows what he does when he took out Salgado and rearranged the entire defense when Thomas was on fire, was that proof for that he is the right man for the job?
Morten:
Yes, absolutely. Salgado is a legend who has won almost everything in football, but today, he struggled a bit with the pace off Thomas, but to Salgados defense everybody is struggling with Thomas’ pace. Moreover, Salgado played a good game offensively. And yes, I absolutely believe that Kean is the right man for the job, he’s incredibly talented.
Stig: Great Morten, congratulations once again and thank you
Morten:
Thanks Stig
