Blackburrn has clearly been the best team in the first place, and they completely deserved to go up in the lead with a fine header from Benjani. Morten beat Drogba to head down to El Hadji Diouf who served a terrific ball into the box where Benjamin was somewhat lucky to score. At the end of the first half Chelsea came in to the match and managed to push Blackburn backwards and Anelka scored a goal to equalize. Blackburn is unlucky to not be in the lead

Stig: You played a fantastic first half and could have been up a couple of goals, how did it feel?
Morten: It was incredibly fun to play, we pushed them hard and had several good chances. I felt we had control of the match and got to play our game while we made it difficult for them
Stig: At the end of the first half you fall back a little bit and they score, it must have been a huge blow?
Morten: Yes, we were unlucky when Ryan Nelsen Martin Olsson crashed, and they are deadly effective when they have the chance
Stig: You fall back in the second half, and that let Chelsea into the game, was it deliberate or weren’t you able to keep up the pressure?
Morten: It is impossible to press high on Chelsea in 90 minutes, and we adjusted ourselves a little further down the pitch but we maintained the balance and they didn’t create many chances. However, we varied the pressure and pressed high at times and we created chances in the second half as well
Stig: Considering their chances and the way the goals came this must feel hugely disappointing
Morten: Yes it’s incredibly disappointing, but Chelsea punish you if you make one little mistake, that’s why they’re champions.
Stig: What do you have to say about the team and your own efforts?
Morten: The team fought as heroes throughout the game, and I tried my best to play up against the rest of the team, and I felt it went alright. Except my set pieces today, they were not as precise as I want them to be
