Manchester united
We held out for about 80 minutes yesterday, but unfortunately it didn’t go all the way. Manchester United had the ball a lot but we created several good chances and could have scored a few goals and won this game. But it is not easy to stop Manchester United when they get the smell of the league title. It’s a good reason why they are on top of the table, and we experienced that the last ten minutes yesterday. I thought for a moment that I had scored, but the ref blew his whistle for situation that happend just before. It is a bit bitter, but it is like that sometimes. Now we just have to look ahead to the West Brom game and get ready for that.

You have no idea how much that match annoyed me last night. It should have stayed at 0-0 but no, now we’re really getting screwed. Relegation is imminent.
va en bra kamp uansett om dokker tapte!
Saturday’s game is massive now after the weekends results which see us go into bottom 3 again, the teams that were below us are now all picking up points…worrying times
Thought last nights performance was good, thot we defended well and De Gea pulled of a few cracking saves, jus hope we can pick up the points we need and avoid the drop
PS. cracking finish jus a pity about the linesman
COYB
Saturday is vital now and we can’t take anything less than a win. I am very nervous.
I do feel the team held them well for 80 mins.
Let’s look forward and get some wins on the board again.
excellent game last night, and thank you very much for signing my shirt…
How about you axe yourself from the team? I believe you are a solid candidate for worst premiership player.
Good long throws, but it stops there. Your set pieces arent even good… your freekicks at goal is fired with strickly power, no precision at all, any player can do that. The corners are just “lumped in”, there is no power on the ball at all which makes it very difficult for your teammates to get power on their header. It takes practically no skill to just chip the ball into the area like you do.
Besides set pieces, you cant tackle, cant read the game, you sure cant get past a defender, you miss half of your passes and your work rate, OR the loyalty and commitment to the club, dont make up for the lack of bravery on the pitch.
On the frustration level of watching a blackburn player over the years, you top the list alongside the likes of corrado grabbi and keith andrews.
You want the best for the club who made you a millionaire? Call in sick. Ask for a transfer. Cut off your toes. Do something. It will help them.
BTW, Jeg har fulgt laget i over 20 år og ser alle kampene, dette er ikke tatt ut fra løse luften for å hate på deg. Ønsker deg lykke til når du endelig bytter klubb.
No fight after the first goal hence why we conceded another, Clueless Kean yet again…should have had at least 2 attacking subs on after united scored their first to freshen things up and go for the draw but no he stuck with the same team that had been running tirelessly for 80 mins holding united is he stupid? Wait, don’t answer that… Relegation is a harsh reality at the moment. Everyone must stand up and be counted, if it means extra hours in the gym or on the training ground then so be it! We must be faster and fitter than our opposition and we’re not.
Hi Morten ignore gamst de sugar!!!!!! a supporter is exactly what it says not a critic. I will be at wba with my grandson, my only regret about last night is we didnt play like that against Bolton. Lets all stick together and we have a chance , What a brilliant goal that would have been but alas not and then they scored 2 crackers. Good luck saturday lets show the doubters dave h a loyal supporter for 49 years
Hi Morten, gutted that your goal didn’t stand, it was a brill finish!
best of luck at the weekend, we’ll be supporting as always!
COYB’s! xxx
Tror jeg kan si med sikkerhet at Blackburn kommer IKKE til å rykke ned denne sesongen, dere er for gode for Championship.
I’m not even a Blackburn fan (Geordie, NUFC) but I thought Morten had a good game last night. It beats me why so many of your so-called fans decided to leave early. I feel sorry for your players having such “support”. Get behind your team!
What a goal, shame it did not count. The team performance was good, my brothers friend said the team performed good and he is a United fan. They did score two great goals. Good Luck for Saturday.
chin up morten. it wasn’t a game we were expected to win, though we do play well against them for some reason. let’s make something happen against west brom. make sure to say hi to keith!
matt from USA
You were average again Morten and when Bradley Orr gave you a roasting for allowing a Man Utd player to go past you without the slightest hint of a challenge I think he spoke for the majority of Rovers fans. Your performance was summed up by the free kick you took right on half time. From a wide position they had a one man wall and you hit the man. For an experienced professional that was embarrassing. In truth that performance (coupled your performance at Bolton) should see you dropped but I don’t think there is a chance of that because we have a clown in charge - quite appropriate really because at the moment Blackburn Rovers is just like a circus.
great performance from the team against man united, but in the end they scored the goals and won. Please keep on playing with passion and win at westbrom. and i predict a free kick goal by MGP.

after watching the bemused look on your face when you were getting some ‘stick’ from a few fans after the bolton game and also, the continued level of criticism you are getting from some supporters… I would like to give you an insight into ‘why’
as a supporter I don’t want to see a player decide to pull out of a challenge (as you do),
as a supporter I want to see a player for my team give EVERYTHING they have got and leave nothing ‘on the field’
Unfortunately you give the impression of doing neither of these things Morten and it is frustrating and annoying when a player (and there are many!) doesn’t seem to give their all.
Good luck for the west brom game.
Hi Morten,
Too bad about the United game. We weren’t supposed to pick up any points in this game to be honest, but slightly more worrying was to see Kean make no effort to put on some attacking options after they scored. No subs for the complete game. Lets just say this was a game I’d want to forget as soon as possible.
I have one question: Why isn’t Simon Vukčević playing any games?, he did look sharp when getting a little game time.
I don’t understand why rovers “fans” feel the need to slag Morten off all the time, nobody’s perfect and believe it or not there are 11 players n the team NOT 1! You can’t fault his effort and commitment to the club & I think that is something which is very important! Keep your head up Morten & Good Luck to you & the boys tomorrow
x
Take of your rose tinted Morten glasses Charlotte. If effort and commitment were the main criteria for playing professional football we would all be playing for a living. Do you call pulling out of tackles being committed? When one of his own team mates publicly rebukes him for ‘bottling’ a challenge that tells you all you need to know.
Good Luck for the game today
Tony, ‘gamst du suger’ and a few others, please tell me why you think verbally abusing someone will somehow, magically, get them to play better? It’s not like he’s going to turn round and think ‘My word, what geniuses these people are! Trying harder, that’s what’ll work!’. I’m sure he tries his best every game and his loyalty is something worth admiring, especially these days. I also doubt you’re any good at football yourselves and if you do have any skill once again I doubt it’d be at Premier League level so really you can’t comment on his ability. The sentence ‘you’re idiots’ concludes my piece.
Good luck against West Brom Morten! x
Beware of the M.S.P.(Morten stat police) when criticizing our pedders,
Nobody has anything personal against our pedders(how could you!), but he is as far as im aware 1 of the few players around with a personal website with comment boxes so if hes not doing well then hes going to be criticized, all i can say in his defence is that for the last few years he has been played out of position most of the time, hes not a centre midfielder he doesnt have the physical attributes, defensive abilty or mentality to play there regularly.
p.s. all that leave comments on here are all either horny teenage girls or sad sychophantic deluded women that are not really in a position to call FOOTBALL fans “idiots”.
“all the birds”, that should have began with.
Absolutely shocking performance today. I’m not going to bother swearing at you because i’m better than that. Yourself and the rest of the squad are an absolute embarrassment to the shirt. You should be donating your wages to charity this week. Absolutely disgusting, I never want to see any of you in a Rover’s shirt ever again, please leave.
Pathetic. Simply pathetic. I don’t suppose an apology from the entire first team and manager will come to those poor souls who travelled today. You make me ashamed to have you at my club…
BALLS- does anybody thats left at rovers have a pair or has kean got rid of them all now.
piss poor, never really looked like scoring aprt from a little 5 min spell in 2nd halve,
Attractive football, long ball, etc…, i dont see any real stratedgy or tactics in play other than morten demandaning to take every setpiece even if it takes him 2 minutes too cross the pitch just to take a throw in, weak ass corner or predictable freekick.
Precisely. It’s often said that we only score from Morten’s set pieces but if he’s the only one who takes any free kick or corner or long throw then law of averages some will go in! About time for a spell on the sidelines and a long hard think about your future Morten. Do you have it in you to put a foot in a challenge instead of just pulling out and letting your man run on our defence?
Not that i blame morten or any other individual player for the clubs position, its entirely kean and the owners fault we are where we are as they have totaly decimated what was only a 18months ago quite a promising mid table team, crapping on the clubs entire history and then having the gaul to blame the fans at times, DISGUSTING.
i dont think any of the current starting 11(other than maybe robinson) would get into a souness/hughes even allardyce squad yet kean wont even take a punt on givin rochina, vucevic, goodwillie(players he has signed) a chance to show what they can do.
Just got back from the game. I am sick and tired of spending my hard earned cash to watch my beloved team ‘reward’ me with performances like that!! To be fair, we were probably on top in the 2nd half until their 2nd goal, which came against the run of play. Foster made a great double save to keep them in it but to lose 3-0 to an average West Brom team is an absolute disgrace. Morten was poor today, thought he slightly improved in the second half, but he certainly wasn’t any worse than the likes of Olsson, Lowe, N’Zonzi and Dann (who I think should be dropped) they were all very poor. I just want this season to be over and for the inevitable to happen. FUMING
One of the biggest cheers today was when you were substituted Morten and you looked bewildered by the decision. The cheers were because the fans have had enough of your ineptitude and in all honesty you have been lucky to keep your place in the team for some time now. At the risk of upsetting a few of your ‘fans’ on here you were awful again today (not on your own though) and if you have a big enough ego to have your own website you have to take the flak from decent and loyal Rovers supporters who are angry and frustrated. Soon you will leave Rovers (along with most of the current ‘players’) and we will be here supporting Rovers in God know which league. Good riddance to the lot of you.
We’re down and out.
Don’t be too down, Chris.
There is always hope. The points, or lack of them, situation is so close.
Morten and the boys will be out there doing the best they can. We must be behind them totally and maybe try sending their way some Positive Vibes.
Busy week ahead. Let’s get some goals and points. My goodness we have some potentials in the team. SHINE!!!
Love and LIGHT

In the attacking third, taking shots on goal and creating chances (crosses and chipped through balls) is where morten is most effective, not chasing back and defending. I would say mort could make more forward runs to provide more options in attack. The team looks too static in midfield with not much off the ball movement at the moment.
Gotta be brave tomorrow and try and win the game rather than sit back and prevent a loss. Sitting deep defending for 90mins hasn’t worked well this season. Come on rovers! .
Just keep putting the effort in Morten. You should not be singled out by these mindless morons. Unfortunately the Club does have a minority of ‘fans’ that would rather complain and give abuse rather than get behind the players but they do not speak for the majority. I appreciate your loyalty and commitment to the Club even though things aren’t good at the moment. Good luck tomorrow.
You should leave Morten. Unfortunately there are a lot of very stupid people who follow football and they always need a scapegoat. The idiots among our support have decided that’s you now Andrews and Roberts have left. They won’t stop harassing you until they get their way because thats how bullies work. Obviously there’s no reason you should bow to their pathetic behaviour, but for us proper fans who support and appreciate what you’ve done for the club the last 8 years, its painful to see you being treated like this. You don’t deserve it and you should go and see out your career at a club who’s fans get behind you. The idiots at Rovers will of course move onto a new target, contemptible people that they are.
Please don’t leave Rovers, Morten. The true Blackburn fans, as Neil said, really appreciate your loyalty, commitment and hard work. Please don’t listen to some of the idiots that have nothing better to do, than come on here and send you ridiculous comments. Keep fighting.. the real Rovers fans will be supporting you, as always. Come On You Blues..! x

Just re-create that tomorrow and all the haters will stop making you the scapegoat
Chin up Morten for a warrior-like performance tonight. I want to see you eat lightning and crap thunder! Watching ‘Rocky’ is a must.
Hopefully the first team will actually turn up tonight, unlike at West Brom. We can accept defeat but we can’t accept defeat without 110% effort going into it.
Time to make amends, I have faith in you.
