QPR at home
Mark Hughes and the guys is visiting today, and most of us in Blackburn have a good relationship with him and his staff. But to be honest, today we do not give a shit in old camaraderie. Today he is just like any other opponent who comes to Ewood, and we have no plans on giving him anything for free. QPR are in just as much trouble as us, so this is a very important game for both of us. QPR have bought some new strikers in January, but that doesn’t scare us, because today we got a troll in the box ourself. His song goes like this:
FEED THE YAK AND HE WILL SCORE
FEED THE YAK
FEED THE YAK
FEED THE YAK AND HE WILL SCORE!
Come On You Blues, Come On Yak!
Morten Gamst Pedersen

Well said! Let’s just keep our fingers crossed. Have a good game! x
i dont rate QPR at all, they play ‘good’ footbal cause of money, like u said they’re in as much trouble as us, come on you blues, feed the yak and he will score, come on peders, you’re one of my fave players, i met you in norway 6 years ago, come on rovers x
Gratulerer med seiern i dag

Gratulerer med flott seier, den var viktig for dere
Yesssssssss!!!!!
Grattis med 3 poeng! Utrolig viktig! Tett bakover nå, og oppover…
yeayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!! i dont care that they scored 2 goals in the second half !!!! its the 3 points that coint but to be 3-0 up at half time was quite enjoyable!!!!!

oh well always next time!!! xxxxxx
come on the yak!!!!! xxx
well done to n’zonzi and hoilett as well they also deserve credit along with you nand the rest of the team!!!
the one thing i was disappointed about was that you didnt score from one of your brilliant free kicks!!
We shouldn’t have been so sloppy. We do this every time we’re winning comfortably. Instead of taking the game to our opposition we sit back and always end up conceding. It’s nice to get three points but the fact we should have been winning by at least 4 - 0 at one point, can’t hide the fact we almost ended up coming out of the game with a draw. Had it not been for those two goal we wouldn’t find ourselves still in the relegation zone because of the goal difference. Not too pleased I must say.
Hi Morten, thank you for the great photo together in the players lounge yesterday evening after the game, delighted to have a picture with my favourite footballer in the world! It was a very enjoyable day in Blackburn, back home in Northern Ireland now. Looking forward to seeing you play again soon, take care, Brendan Jamison http://www.lockerz.com//s/183029402
Well done yesterday Morten! it’s good to be out of that drop zone after wolves getting beat today. Good luck, for the rest of the season, I really think you guys are playing well enough to stay up!!
Good 3 points on Saturday! however the easy leaking of goals is a concern for us need to sort that out and cut them down! COYB!!!!
YYYaaaaaakkk!!! Exelent!!!
great 3 points!! Just wish we could of got a clean sheet or got the 3-1. Great to see Yak back. Hope he can stuff City next and you as well with a free kick or two.
Brilliant blog Morten. Great to know you can hear us when we are being 12th man. Your blog today made me laugh you are becoming more and more ‘one of us’ Great day on Saturday, thanks for the much needed 3 points Yippee. Thought you were all terrific!
yes christine i agree, he should be sat in the stands with us not flappin about on the pitch waiting for a set piece to snatch.
Shame about Mick McCarthy, but one could see a definate on the cards, I suppose.
Should a chairman go into the dressing room when the gaffer is trying to manage?
I would NOT want to be a football manager!
Well done for the 3 points, although it seemed to be tiouch and go for a lil while there, Morten. Smile.
Keep your glow on!
Kjærlighet og Lys to you and the team.
Hi Morten

Dont Know Weather U Ever Notice Me But Just Thought I’d Say i Will Never Forget The Day I Met You At Blackburn When You Was Playing Birmingham At Home, I Wanted To Meet You All Day And Kept Bugging The Staf Who Came Into To Tv Studio Suite, Thank You So Much For Takin The Time To Meet Me At The End Of The Day And Had Your Photo With Me. Your Such A Genuine Guy And Lovely To Meet Thanks So Much xxxxx
How come you’re always going over to Kean these days to have a go at him? Not that I’m complaining, but he just turns his head and ignores you. Shocked you feel you can work under such a disrespectful imposter to be honest, you and the boys deserve better than Kean.
Morten u rock!!
thanks to you and the team efforts to secure us the 3 points…its so so important! great in the first half but the 2nd…was, i wonder why Kean likes to commit ‘Tactical Suicide’ after Half-Time, (example taking Formica out for Modeste) didnt happened once but many times over the course of the season! anyw i believe in you and the team, we need the points badly vs Man City, we can do it “Against All Odds”!! Tell the Team to listen to Phil Collins song! Keep the Faith ALways!!
 )) cheers from Singapore
Happy Valentine’s Day Morten! Good luck for next match against Manchester City on 25th February, keeping my fingers crossed!
Awesome win peds, you rock! Are blackburn going to be in the asia cup again this year and come to Hong Kong? good luck next week!
Morten, don’t tell Yakubu you called him a troll.
Just uploaded picture with you onto sculpture website. Also added a little quote: ”it was a great honour to meet Morten. Not only is he my favourite footballer in the world, he is also a true gentleman with a great sense of humour and is always smiling, brightening up every room he walks into…” Was also great to get onto the pitch after the QPR victory to award Paul Robinson the trophy from Northern Ireland Blackburn Rovers Supporters Association.[Ewood Park, February 11, 2012] It was such a wonderful weekend as only the day before we were in 10 Downing Street installing a sugar cube sculpture of the front door for an art exhibition, so that event and the QPR victory made for an amazing weekend! Thank you once again, take care, Brendan http://www.brendanjamison.com/mortengamstpedersenandbrendanjamison.html
Some of the potential in the team is immense, The obvious are hoilett and nzonzi, we then have good seasoned players in Yakubu, Robinson and Samba (for now). Then there are solid players who will do a job in lowe and givet, There are also good youngsters showing promise - henley and hanley. We also have players that have shown shades of talent - vuckevic, Ollson, Rochina Formica and Dunn. Then there are the duds who have played better than they are now wether it was in a rovers shirt or before they got here - Pedersen, Dann, Goodwillie and Petrovic apart from pedersen maybe they’re all still settling in. If all of them were to be on form we would have a very strong squad but it comes down to key players performing for others to succeed and maybe it’s time to change those key players. i.e. our set piece taker. Maybe it would be best for both parties if pedersen moved on, I don’t doubt his ability I just think maybe his course has run a little stale, maybe he needs a new challenge becuase it’s very rare we see him put in a good all around performance apart from an occasional goal.
