wigan away tomorrow
It was really a pity that there was a break in the Premier League now that Blackburn Rovers had begun to find our match fitness. We had played several good games in a row and was just unlucky that we didn’t take more points than we did. So this break was bad timing for us. But we are a good team with many good players, so this should not affect us in any negative way. We have worked hard and determined to reverse the bad results, even on my off days I have been on the training ground to put in axtra work so that we will be well prepared for the upcoming period. So even if the break came at an unfortunate time so this should not affect us much.
Wigan away tomorrow is going to be a though game, but we have our heart and soul in the right place, and together with our excellent away supporters, I am sure we are going to take three points. And if we continue with good the good performances we’ve played in recent games, we have a good chance to take points in each of the next six games, and we could easily win three or four of them.
Have a nice weekend everyone
Morten Gamst Pedersen
God helg til deg også, Morten! Å spill en god kamp mot Wigan
good luck to you & all the boys tomorrow morten! hopefully luck will be on our side for once
x
Hope you win, but I also hope Steve Kean goes, Blackburn wont get anywhere with him. He isn’t managerial quality let alone PL quality. Also when’s Admiral Nelsen coming back?
Good Luck for tomorrows game
Good luck today BRFC
God helg te dæ oxo Morten;D lykke me kampen idag:)
Fortsett slik!!
brilliant today gamst, good thinking “desperate times call for desperate measures” you saved us today !
Morten i’m dissapointed by your actions to cheat never would i have imagined Rovers and yourself to stoop so low, I have always been an admirer of your talent but today was appauling and Wigan should rightly feel wronged. The performance was lacklustre at best and Wigan deserved the 3 pts today, oh well another week for Kean how long must we endure this pathetic excuse of a manager and his repetitive spouting to the press on his endless what if’s. I have a what if, what if venky’s didnt takeover sam allardyce would be in charge and we would be safey mid table there’s my what if kean. KEAN OUT!!!!
Why did only Robbo come to the fans at the end of the game Morten? You looked like you were going to but didn’t. Never before have I seen just one player come to the fans after a game. Is it becasue we were chanting Kean and Venkys out? If so that is a disgrace and you should all hang your heads in shame that you couldn’t acknowledge the fans. I know several of the players are Kean apologists but once a rift develops bewteen the players and fans there is no way back. I’d love to hear your explanation for this Morten, will you please tell me? You have my email address.
By the way i though you had a decent game today and worked really hard, particularly after Dunn got himself stupidly sent off.
Morten, this team will be relegated with that muppet in charge. And why does Kean keep picking Dunn, Roberts and Salgado? They are just not good enough.
good game from you today peds, but for me this was a make-it or break-it game because wigan is not a good team. if we can’t even beat/perform well against wigan athletic then something needs to change. dunn getting himself sent off in such an important match and against such a poor team is terrible/pathetic. i really hope something does change before it is too late and blackburn are relegated. i know that all you can control is your play on the pitch morten and you’ve done exceptionally well these last few games. central midfield is your new home in my opinion. i truly do hope that both kean and venky’s are gone from the club by season’s end, if not venky’s then at least steve kean. here’s to hoping we pick up some wins over the next few games.
Matt from USA
Tell David Dunn to retire, he’s been finished as a premier league player for about 2 years. Tell Steve Kean he isn’t welcome at the club, and for that matter neither are Venky’s. I wonder, MGP, will you still be here next year when we’re trying to get out of the championship?
I think that Mort thought that Yakubu took a kick of the ball, but he changed his mind and did not touch it
Hei Morten,
Din innsats på banen de siste lampene har vært veldig bra. Jeg har ikke sett pasnongsraten din, men den må være høy. Er det Tugay som er ditt forbilde?
Mvh
Tommy
Don’t think people should write complaints on this page and accuse Morten of being a cheater, even if Yakubu didn’t touch the ball and it could be looked at as ‘cheating’, there have been many a time that Rovers have been playing against clubs that constantly cheat and get away with it in broad daylight and for once a decision went our way and we should be thankful for that. If people want to complain they should go somewhere else and do it rather than at our longest serving player at the club who is nice enough to take the time out of his busy day to write a blog for his fans. Hi Morten. yet again you ran further than anybody else and the corner was clever. we all need to stick together at this time injuries again robbed us but some players do seem to lack full match fitness. I am proud the team battled to the end, the corner will be turned. Please though try and get all to acknowledge the fans we are important and was sad only robbo bothered. take care and thanks for your efforts if that free kick had gone in would have been a different game dave and ellis
Have Rovers not had players dive and con the ref against us before Jamie? There’s no room to be a saint in football, you do what you have to to win and Morten’s quick thinking saved a point today. If thats the point that keeps us up will you still be complaining about it? Every other team does what they can to gain an advantage and so should we. I can’t believe as a Rovers fan you’re actually complaining about it!
Well played today Morten, unlucky with a terrific free-kick and another assist. You’ve improved the midfield greatly since coming back and its great to see you still have the passion and commitment.
I am disappointed that you didnt come over and applause to the fans when the game is over. FFS, we fans are playing your salaries and this is the cold treatment to us?
How was that corner clever? As far as I’m concerned, it was cheating, Yak didn’t touch the ball and you just ran into the box with it. If it’s allowed, I don’t know why David Jones just didn’t do the same for us.
Well played Morten, you put a really good shift in yesterday. It must be hard playing with all the uncertainty around the club at the moment. The fans are 100% behind you guy’s on the pitch though. COYB!
Have none of you cheating apologists ever heard the phrase: “Two wrongs don’t make a right”? Others players dive and cheat so it’s fine for us to? Personally I think Wigan thoroughly deserved their win as we were pathetic again and had far too many players just going through the motions. This was supposed to be a ‘must-win’ game for us and we never looked like winning it. Bad times. Venkys buggering off at half-time sums it all up for me. Their ‘baby’ is badly neglected we need some social services in to help!
Surprised to read people coming on Mortens site to make general complaints about Kean and Venkys. What is he supposed to do about it? This is Morten’s blog page not Blackburn Rovers site or fans chat board. Also people complaining the players didnt come over to the fans. Wish that is all we had to worry about. So trivial compared to the mess we are in. How is Morten expected to comment on any of this?
Morten you tried hard and did well. We were very impressed with your concern for the fan who got hit by a practise shot. We love the Rovers but Kean has to go. Dunny had already got a yellow by half time and really Kean should have subbed him then as he wasn’t playing well.
Train hard and good luck for next week.
decisions have gone aganist us in the past couple of week ie the penalty at norwich at all evens irself out the season. Thought team played well and morten you were really unlucky when youre shot hit the post we have gained a point but we need to start winning games before the busy christmas period
why was Robbo the only player to come over to the fans at the end of the game!
some people have paid alot of money took time and effort to come and support you lads, and the best you could give was a little wave from half way line after the game shocking!
this is not like you at all morten!
You cleared up the corner situation.. will you be man enough to explain why only Robbo came over to thank YOUR FANS for their support”!!..
Why is Morten getting the blame for all the team except Robinson not coming over? Kean clearly gestured for the side to come off, probably because he was upset about the chants against him throughout the match. If someone has to be criticised for it then it should be Kean, but of course he doesn’t have a website that makes an effort to engage with fans. Pedersen does and all he seems to get is stick for it from half the posters.
