Chelsea today
In the world of football it’s not just anybody who comes to visit Ewood Park today, but for us today it is just anybody. We do not care if it’s Dagenham & Redbridge FC or Chelsea FC who comes to visit. We need to continue our good games and not worry about who’s on the other half. Chelsea has two world stars at every position, but that does not mean they are unbeatable. We have our hearts in the right place and will do everything we can to take all three points in this match. We have great respect for Chelsea, as we have for all teams we meet, and that goes for the whole day, all week, all year, except for the 90 + minutes we meet them. Then they’re just anybody. COYB!!!

Morten, amazing display today. You were MOTM in my opinion, never shy of a challenge and had some beautiful attempts kept out from what felt like a force field across the net. Seem to be stronger then ever, keep it up
Great performance today - you ran for every ball and play with real passion.
Well played today Morten, ur best game this season so a stat at halftime and you had ran more than anyone else on both teams! apparently 6 miles by half time!. Do you know how many you did by the end of the game?
Keep up the hardwork and the results will come. The fans are fully behind all the players and if the players and fans stick to together we can come through this!
Arte Et Labore
Great display by the boys today, very unlucky with the result but as i say the performance was outstanding. The plane banner? VERY embarrassing for all the genuine fans at Ewood today, bored with the protests now, time to move on and get behind the team.
Have tried clicking on your link to btw for stig but it doesn’t seem to work for me! Any ideas?
Well played yesterday, seems after picking up that hamstring strain you have really started to be playing really good, can see the difference, keep it up
what happened to your eye?
Guess you will be happy to be a ‘genuine fan’ in the championship then angela. get a grip love. the protesting fans are the ones who care- trying to stop our club being ruined by a muppett in charge.
So, ‘common sense’, because people dont protest it means they dont care?! Get real!! That plane had such a negative effect yesterday…both on and off the pitch. The mood inside the ground completely changed. I dont think any fan can say that they are totally pro-Kean but what we need now is unity - not fighting amongst fans, and unfortunately that’s what the protests are causing
Agree with you Gemma!
Great performance off you and the team yesterday pity you nor anyone else scored!! We needed the 3 points!! I reckon we had the chance and could have won the match if a lot of people hadnt got distracted by the banner and turned negative!! Still behimd blackburn all the way!! X
Yes Liesel that’s the reason we missed our chances to win the game: a plane in the first half. Seriously?! The crowd were NOT negative we got behind the boys all the way and will continue to do so while we have breath in our bodies but we MUST convert chances when they come along. This is all the more important now we are more than a win from getting out of the relegation places. On a positive note, Morten you were excellent again (almost as good as Gael only joking) and with the team playing like that I’m confindent we’ll start to pick up points.
Angela, I have taken the liberty of re-booking your place in the asylum. Seriously, you are mad woman! As for most of the rest of you, I’ve booked you in for check-ups as you are all seriously mad and need to go back to sleep before you hurt somebody.
As for yourself Peds, well done, you had a very good game with all the stats suggesting you were the most tenacious player in the Prem yesterday, your commitment cannot be questioned. What I would say though, is that the general blind loyalty being given to your gaffer is not producing the correct results. I don’t care if we’re awful to watch, we need results and your manager is not delivering them. Great effort from the boys but no cigar, how long are you going to stick by Kean whilst we lose every game?
Well done again though on a personal level, keep it going!
So we are playing slightly better- so what? we are still LOSING. win percentage record of 18% is all I have to say. Sam was sacked with a 40ish % record.
Morten you were superb on Saturday, my MOTM no doubt what so ever, you found your range again and your commitment was fantastic, its always well recieved when you come to the Blackburn end after the game.Thanks.
You may think i am a mad woman, Tommy, but all this negativity around Ewood is getting everybody down and really doesn’t help the situation at all. I agree Steve Kean isn’t the man for us and that changes need to be made but leave the protests until after the match.
I agree Angela, it is getting everybody down. Why should the fans stop protesting though and why can’t the team start winning instead? Your blaming the protesters for the negativity, yet we’d have nothing to protest about if the club wasn’t in such a shambolic mess. I know people on the inside and believe me, their are huge divisions all around the club, you should be directing your frustration at the club management before having a go at the fans because as it stands, we are lambs to the slaughter and Morten knows exactly what i’m talking about.
Tommy, of course Morten know. But what du you want from him?
I can’t honestly understand anybody who wants to see the back of Kean but isn’t prepared to do anything about it. It’s clear that our invisible owners don’t really know what to do and agent Anderson is still having some input and helping to keep his boy Kean in situ. We (and some of the players to be fair) seem to be the only ones who care about Rovers but there needs to be a full on protest to show everybody that the MAJORITY feel this way. I defy anybody to put their neck on the line and state categorically that we will not go down with the current regime.
Fancy football is nice but Rovers success on and off the field is governed by results, currently a win percentage of 18.75 represents massive failure. What part of that fact do people not understand.
The Wild Blackburn Rover is right!

Well done on your efforts.
Brilliant display on Saturday Morten, you were fantastic, everyone was really pulling together as a team to try to get a result. It will come soon.
Morton, your performance was valiant and inspired! I was so happy to see that form coming back! If we continue to play like that against the other PL sides, we’ll soon be counting points in 3′s. I am still not convinced by Kean, and his record proves the fans’ doubts with only 6 wins, but I will continue to support my Rovers!! We have a winable couple of fixtures coming up, and if we continue to show that spirit, collectiveness and drive, then we will fast move up the table.
COYB!!
I hope that everyone returns from the international break healthy and inspired and ready to kick some Wigan ass!! COYB!!
