Euro qualifier
Now I am in Norway together with the rest of the national team starting preparations for the qualifier against Cyprus. It is an extremely important game, and at the same time as we are depending on that Denmark gives away points to both Cyprus and Portugal. It is quite possible since both Cyprus and by far Portugal is better than Denmark. Then it only remains for us to do our job and this should go just fine.
Our game against Manchester City is not much to write home about. We were good for about 55 minutes and then we burst like a balloon, but there are many who are going to do that against City. The have world class players in all positions and spend hundreds of millions on players so it would be an incredible achievement if we where to grab points from them.

City have good players, have lots of money - but that doesnt justify a lack of fight (f.e. just before Citys third goal, when you stood there in the own penalty box without moving, just holding your hand up desperate to get the offside goal)!
We have seen other things in football than a Premier League team beat Man City. There are teams out there that give their lot to win matches, and that is the least you can ask for from any player, any team! This performance was pretty disappointing and there is no way playing it down like you did here.

All this time I thought Norwegians loved Denmark almost as much as they love themselves, but now I realize that is only when they retain their famous luck that has prompted so many Danes to hate everything Norwegian with a vengeance. But once that luck runs out and it comes down to things like quality and consistency (and therefore the Norwegians start losing) they hate Danes just as much as the other way around. Sorry morten but denmark has only lost 1 out of the last 3 games against portugal, so the fact is that yes portugal has better individual players then denmark but as a team they dont manage to do any damage in any tournaments. get your facts straight and btw norway sucked against denamrk so you only sound like a bad looser

For the record Morten we were not “good for 55 minutes” … we were holding on for 55 minutes and then the dam broke and the players gave up. There was a large group of people in the riverside guessing how many City would score in the second half - not the sign our team playing well. Stop with the excuses and admit we’re in huge trouble.

Christian Eriksen har jo helt rett i at Kypros er bedre med ball enn Norge. Personlig trodde jeg at Kypros ville havne høyere på kvalifiseringstabellen enn Norge, men der tok jeg feil. Få fotballandslag i Europa er dårligerre til å behandle ballen rent teknisk enn Norge. Det regner jeg med de fleste nordmenn er enige i. Det er neppe mange nordmenn som mener Norge er bedre enn Danmark.

Vi har sendt jer ud af EM kvallen og pløkket jeres kendis elg. Det er vist godt for den norske selvtillid at skisæsonnen snart starter…
Det er helt på trynet hvor arrogante de danskene her er, de er store i kjeften fordi de er bedre enn oss i fotball, men hva med ski, sykling, håndball etc. Skal vi lage ett forbanna avisoppslag HVER gang vi slår Danmark i noe? Da kunne vi heller lagd en egen avis om det.
