John “Faxe” Jensen
Today, Blackburn Rovers hired the former Danish star player John “Faxe” Jensen as assistant manager. People from Scandinavia will remember him from the European Championship in 1992 when he scored in the final against Germany. He has previously played for Arsenal and is a man who had very good football qualities. I look forward to working with John, and I hope and expect that there is much we can learn from him

I just finished reading Savage! and I must say, I really didn’t think much about the backroom staff having a major impact [other than the skipper!], but I hope he is one of the good guys and treats you well, but not too soft! hahaha! It was a fun read, although I of course wish it had more pages about Rovers. None-the-less, I think it is interesting to get an inside view at life behind the scenes in the Prem, much like this blog has done! Thanks again, Mort!! And good luck in London!!! Go Rovers!!
Yeah, it’s a big help for the team and especially Steve Kean. We’ll see his contribution at Bridge. It’s a rare opportunity, when we got a news straight from the players. Am I getting ‘too much’? Haha…. Thanks anyway, Gamsten!
For some reason I read that as John “Fake” Jensen… time for some sleep I think ^^
