Unfortunately
Unfortunately I will not play today agains Manchester United at Old Trafford. The thigh has received rough treatment in recent weeks, therefore it is determined that I should not play the game today so I can participate in the hard program that is coming in December. I hate not playing, but this is unfortunately the case today. But I’m going to sit in the away section and give my contribution from there. The disappointment is huge, but the risk is so high that it could be a set back and then it will be a long-term injury. But I’ll see all of you in the away end and off course, next weekend, but then on the pitch at Ewood Park!

Watch when you celebrate, when Dundee United scored against Celtic my brother was on a row of seats and his pal was hugging him, it was funny, but it is great when you score a goal against the big teams.

Sorry to hear about your fitness issues, Morton. We really could have used your creativity and deft touch in the first half, as no one looks to have any confidence on the ball today. Rovers so far looking desperately outplayed. I hadn’t even finished making my coffee and settled into my seat before the first goal went in. Hopefully the second half will at least prove less difficult to watch, but we would really need to pull a 180 to even walk away with our heads up from this one. If we get anything out of this, I think it will only be that your long-term fitness is spared from you not playing. Until then, chins up lads, don’t let one game against an inspired United performance get you down. This is where we need some character in the locker room and finishing out the match. Come on you ROVERS!!!

Gutted at the result, but let’s put it past us and get a convincing win against Wolves. Have to get behind the lads through thick and thin. We can and will play much better!
Too many injuries today, we got truly hammered. To be fair though, Man U were on song and it might not have made any difference…

Hey i was at Old Trafford today and saw you in the away end! It was great seeing you there Morten shame about the result, we would have played alot better with you on the pitch.
Morten get us away fans a refund on our tickets! I payed £42 to be there and all i got was a 7 - 1 thrashing. The reason i say this is because you were in the away section
and you know how much you loved the comeradory of the fans and how good we were even when losing badly!
£42 for a ticket wow, that’s a lot of money for a football ticket, remember United getting beat by Rangers 7-1 a few times, that was so gutting, know how you feel. Hope it doesn’t happen tomorrow lol

Morten will you let Big Sam know how horrible that performance was and tell him to take the blame, apologise to the fans and also get himself and the players to all pay for our tickets and transport that we wasted watching that shite! We don’t earn footballers wages and we all deserve refunds after seeing such a lacklustre display. Ashamed.
