I want to go to the Euro 2012 in Poland and Ukraine, I want it really bad. And yesterday we took another step on the way. But we’re not there yet, and it’s still a long way to go. I hear from the media, people around me and my friends that we’re practically there. I say hold on a minute, we’re not there yet and it’s a long way to go and plenty of games to be played and those games have to be won before we can start packing our bags.

Let’s have a short scenario here. Portugal has 5 games left and they are capable to win all of them which leave them with 19 points. Denmark has six games left and if they win all except the one against Portugal they’re on 18 points. Of course Portugal has away games against Denmark, Iceland and Cyprus, and it’s not given that they will win those games, but they CAN win them. Denmark is visiting us, Iceland and Cyprus and has to win all to have a chance, and they CAN win them.

Of course it’s important to us to be happy about our great start of this campaign and I don’t want to ruin the party. BUT let’s remember that we still have to play those games and win them, and the ball is round and cup is cup and its better with three points in the bank than a roof full of birds. What I’m saying is let’s celebrate when we’re there and stay focused till then.
